Account FAQ

· What is Auth0? Is it safe?

Auth0 is the website’s login provider system. It improves the website’s security, adds functionality (it’s an SSO), etc. Yes, it’s totally safe (probably safer than my previous login system).

· How can I change my profile picture?

You can do it by using Gravatar. Register there (you’ll need a WordPress.com account) and upload your profile picture. After a few minutes, your lumito.net profile picture should upgrade.

· Can I view my Auth0 (SSO) profile data? Can I edit it?

Currently, you can’t neither view your Auth0 profile data by yourself, nor edit it. I’m developing an Auth0 (SSO) account dashboard in which you will be able to do so.

· I have accidentally linked my account to another from a social provider (ie. Google). How can I unlink it?

Currently, you can’t, but I’ll try to create a service to make this possible. Meanwhile, you can contact me and I’ll do it for you.

· How can I delete my WordPress account? And my Auth0 one?

To delete your WordPress account go to My Account, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Delete Account”.

If you want to fully delete your global Auth0‘s (SSO) lumito.net account, go to https://privacy.lumito.net/delete-account/ and follow the instructions there. After that, remember to click on the “Log out” link. If you have any issues, please contact support.
